FURRIENDS DOG TRAINING
Furriends takes a force-free and reward-based approach with training. To us, this means we work at our dog's pace allowing them to have a choice, setting them up for success, and rewarding them when they make great decisions. By taking in consideration their internal state and motivations, we can boost their confidence and build a positive relationship with them! We live in a world that is not natural for dogs; They are solely dependant on us and there are tremendous expectations for them to be well behaved in this urban environment. When we can view the world from our dog's perspective, we can appreciate their behaviours, better understand them, and see how our actions impact them. Furriends can teach you to train your dog to have life long skills in a way where they feel safe and everyone has fun!

Furriends Private Training Consultation
$50
A 45 minute in-person consultation is required prior to any private training services. The purpose of a consultation is to discuss the challenges you are having with your dog and to ensure we are a good fit for your training needs. For the safety and wellbeing of everyone involved, Furriends will not accept training requests beyond their experience and skill set. Referrals to other trusted professionals will be recommended.

Furriends Private Training
$80 / One Hour Session
During a private training session, we will address the root of the behavioural issue, solidify fundamental skills, and build off of it to progress the training. After the session, a written summary will be emailed to you, and support will be available to guide you on your training! Subsequent sessions can be scheduled in at your training pace - I understand that life can get chaotic so I want to take the pressure away from strict timelines!​

Reactive Furriends Classes
$50 / Drop-In Class
These 45 minute classes are suitable for dogs that are experience leash reactivity towards humans, dogs, wildlife, etc. They will be held outdoors on Sundays at 9am in various locations around the city and taught by multi-certified dog trainers. The goal is to create a safe and realistic learning environment so you can take the skills you learn in class and apply them to your everyday life. With the collaboration of dog trainers and behaviour consultants in one class, you can take advantage of learning from multiple faucets of skillsets. There will be a low trainer to dog ratio ensuring you feel supported and individual challenges can be addressed! ​​
