Furriends Terms and Conditions

By enrolling in services with Furriends Dog Walking and Training, I hereby certify that my dog(s) is/are in good health and has/have not been ill with any communicable condition in the last 14 days. I further certify that all incidents of harm and aggressive threatening behavior towards any person or any other dog have been disclosed in the training questionnaire. I have read and understand the following:  

• I am solely responsible for any harm caused by my dog(s) while my dog(s) is/are attending dog training with Furriends.  

• I agree that in admitting my dog(s) to Furriends, Furriends and their personnel have relied on my representation that my dog(s) is/are in good health and are up to date on vaccinations.  

• Furriends will not be liable for any problems that develop provided reasonable care and precautions are followed and I hereby release them from any liability of any kind whatsoever arising from my dog(s) attendance in training with Furriends. 

• Furriends Dog Walking and Training is a fear-free and reward-based dog training company that prohibits the use of aversive tools and training methods. I agree that in admitting my dog(s) to Furriends, I will follow their guidelines and will not hold Furriends liable should any issues arise from the use of tools and techniques that deviate from Furriends’. 

I agree that any training related injuries/problems that develop with my dog(s) will be treated as deemed best by the personnel of Furriends at their discretion. If I am unreachable in case of emergency, I agree that Furriends can take appropriate action at their sole discretion, and I assume full financial responsibility for all expenses involved.  

I certify that I have read and understand the policies of Furriends as set forth in the preceding paragraphs and that I have read and understand the conditions and statements of this agreement, including the following: 

• Fees: are determined according to service type and will be due at the time of registration.  

• Prepayment: is required for all training services. Refunds can be issued at the discretion of Furriends. 

• Cancellation: of classes will not be reimbursed nor rescheduled for a later date. 

In consideration of, and as an inducement to the acceptance of my application, I hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Furriends and its employees/representatives of any and all claims from myself or any member of my family, of injury, expenses, or damages to my dog or any handler sponsored by me so long as Furriends and its employees/representatives are acting reasonably in fulfilling their duties within the scope of the services for which they were hired. In addition, I agree that I will defend and indemnify Furriends for any injury, expenses or damages to any dog handlers or dogs, whether sponsored by me or not, or to third parties arising out of my own actions or the actions of my dog. I have read the above-stated provisions and agree to accept those responsibilities.
